This is my first time ever leasing a storage a space but Mdom was patient, kind, and very professional. He answered all of my questions which put my mind at ease and made me even more eager to lease.?

For the most part everyone was helpful. I would advise not to go too close to the end of the workday for the office folks. They can get a bit snippy. I witnessed Bryce not giving the best customer service, his tone of voice and shortness left a lot to be desired. Also, if you don’t get there before 6 pm during the week or 4 pm on the weekend, you won’t get to use a cart. That policy is a bit unhelpful since the business is open to the public until 10 pm…and they only have a handful of carts. Lastly, if you don’t pay attention you will miss the entrance and be forced to drive around the world to get back…don’t do this during rush hour, you will be upset! They really need a better sign citing the entrance and exit.

Let me tell you about the adventure I had when I decided to store my entire collection of oversized inflatable pool toys there for the winter. Yes, you read that right - I'm the proud owner of a ridiculous number of inflatable flamingos, unicorns, and even a life-sized inflatable T-Rex. They're like family to me! So, picture this: it's a cold December morning, and I'm feeling all responsible as I haul my inflatables to Self Storage Plus. I rent a unit, pack everything in, and pat myself on the back for being so organized. Fast forward to March when I decide it's time for a pool party to welcome spring. I head back to the storage unit, ready to unleash the inflatable army. Except... I couldn't find them! Panic set in. Did someone steal my pool posse? Were they abducted by aliens? I was about to launch a full-scale investigation when I heard laughter echoing from a nearby unit. Curious, I followed the sound and stumbled upon a group of staff members from Self Storage Plus having the time of their lives with my inflatables! Turns out, they thought my collection was so epic that they couldn't resist inflating them for a bit of fun during their breaks. Imagine my relief and amusement! The staff apologized profusely, but honestly, I couldn't be mad. Seeing a group of grown adults riding inflatable unicorns and having a blast was worth the momentary panic. Not only did Self Storage Plus keep my belongings safe, but they also provided unexpected entertainment! Kudos to the friendly and playful staff for turning what could have been a stressful situation into a hilarious memory. If you're looking for a storage facility with great service and a sense of humor, look no further than Self Storage Plus on Kenilworth Avenue!

I was referred to this facility by my aunt who also absolutely loves this place. The service I received was exceptional.. i didn’t get her name but I know she was the daughter of the General manager of the facility. She was so sweet, quick, efficient, and knowledgeable. The security of the place is very good. You have to put your code in several times to access the building and floors which I truly like and makes me feel more at peace about having my things there. I give this place 5 out of 5 stars and will refer anyone in this area who needs a storage unit to come here! Thank you for making my process a smooth one!

All storage places are pretty much the same...I am only writing this bc of the above and beyond amazing service that Shay, (manager) consistently provided. She was always honest and direct, but fair and kind. I fell some months behind during COVD, and she really helped me figure out the best way to get everything straightened out. Thank you to Shay for being kind and patient.

Cheyenne is an angel. When I encountered her I was "that" customer - rude, frustrated, short tempered. She met with patience and professionalism. Losing my husband left me having to go our stuff in storage. A very emotional process. She didn't know this. She was just kind to a angry woman. She's such an angel.

Self Storage Plus is great! When I needed to keep my payment the same rate per month, I was able to negotiate with management to keep the same lowered monthly rate. When I needed help clearing out the remaining items of my storage unit, because I was not in the D.C. area, I was able to call and ask if they could help me arrange this; Shakeyta was great and able to donate my things quickly, so I wouldn't have to be charged the next month! This team is flexible and workable given your situation! Thank you!!!

They were prepared and professional. All of your questions are answered, thoroughly knowledgeable of and operate in a timely fashion. Also helps you every step of the way. The one star they should have is the electronic feature at all locations to be able to get in and out securely of your locker. I feel it’s more convenient. Other than that they are great!!!!

I have dealt with 2 young Black American Ladies at the Kenilworth location! They are some very sweet, pleasant, patient, eager to assist, joyful, professional and beautiful young ladies. To deal with the public on a daily basis is not easy when you have a variety of unpleasant to pleasant people that you encounter. These young ladies have made my transitions as pleasant as they possibly could. They are professional and thoughtful on the phone as well as in person. If I had my own business, I would personally invite them to work for my establishment and pay them well because excellent customer service is extremely hard to come by anymore nowadays. Everyone is so quick to put employees down when they are the ones that are LOUD, UNRULY, OBNOXIOUS, and WRONG. I, on the other hand, am quick to appreciate the good before I criticize the bad. I usually don't express the bad to others, I point out the good! I would recommend THIS particular location to everyone I know that's needing a good and CLEAN establishment to store their precious belongings. Because of these two young women, I've decided to KEEP my precious belongings here! They deserve recognition and a pay raise! Give it to them!
