The facility is easy to access (even during certain non-staffed hours), clean, well air-conditioned, and secure. Maleah at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful, showing us around the entire building and equipping us with everything we needed to know. Would use Self Storage Plus again.

EDIT- the facilities are well maintained and clean, just beware that your rent can and will change at the management’s discretion at any time. My rent increased quite a bit after about 5 months of renting.

Getting a unit was a very easy process. They have a lot of room in the parking lot so it’s easy to move stuff in and out. Plus, there’s a ton of security, and that gives me peace of mind. The staff was very informative when I had questions before choosing Self Storage Plus. Gail helped me get into the perfect size unit for my move.

The service was very professional. I rented my unit in a few minutes after making my reservation online. The storage facility is clean, doesn’t smell bad at all and has very good lighting. I am very happy with the discount that I got as well.

Everyone was very accommodating of my situation and urgency of travel, those at the front desk worked efficiently to finish all the necessary paperwork and explained everything I needed to know clearly. If I have to store my stuff again In Arlington I know who I’ll contact first.

Update, 1 year after my initial review: This week I cleared everything out of my storage unit. It was very convenient and again Meleah was wonderfully friendly, competent, and professional. All my items were in excellent condition. I will use this place if I have storage needs again in the future. Original Reivew: I had a wonderful experience setting up a storage unit with Meleah. She communicated with me proactively and clearly from our first conversations about 5 weeks out from my move up to the day before my move. She even reached out to tell me about a newly-available unit that fit my needs at a lower price. This was my first time using a storage unit and Meleah helped me feel comfortable and confident about it.

Meleah is the best! My company has rented multiple storage units here since 2018. Meleah has always been available to solve any issues and the staff are all very pleasant and welcoming. Less than 5 min from DC and very clean etc. cannot recommend enough. Best Staff!

Good storage unit. Floors and hallways kept clean and attended. Sometimes their large garage doors are out of order, so that should be managed a little better. They could definitely improve on the regular door you use to get inside. They should make it so that you can keep it open as you're carrying things in because it'll shut on you as you're trying to bring things in and out of the front entrance. Its a well locked security unit though which is nice. You have to punch in a code to get into the parking area, then punch a code in door to get inside, then punch code into elevator.

Incredibly helpful and flexible and responsive. I've been storing various amount of stuff with them for a couple years now, part of that time I'm working half way around the world. The rates are more than reasonable for climate controlled space. I've really appreciated all the help from Meleah and the team!

Gale and Malia are the best. Very convenient, friendly and helpful. I needed two units for work and at first they did not have two units next to each other. Malia was able to move a unit around for me and give me two side by side for my convenience. It was a pleasure working with them.

This is one of the best customer experiences I have had at any establishment. Meleah, the General Manager, answered all of my questions thoroughly and was incredibly friendly. This location seems very clean and secure, and was very easy to move into. If you need storage in the area - this is the place to go!

Reserved a unit online and went to the site to check it out before committing to actually renting it. The process went very smoothly - the manager (Meleah) was extremely kind and helpful, and she walked me through all of the processes from entering key codes, accessing my unit, and how to schedule movers to pick up my items. The site is clean with easy access to the loading area and elevators. Signed up right on the spot due to excellent customer service, pricing, and cleanliness. Highly recommended!

Super convenient, easily accessed location. Superb customer service. Gail is the friendliest person. We arrived close to closing time and Gail stayed late to help get our service opened, carefully explained everything and toured us through the facility. Couldn't be happier with the experience.

I can’t say enough things about how great the customer service here was. I came on two different days and received excellent service both times I came. Ms. Meleah Gray helped me the first day I came in and was able to walk me through and show me all available options and prices. I've been using this storage unit for almost 2 years now. Meleah was so helpful getting me set up and finding the right storage unit for my needs. Gail and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly; they always help out with my deliveries if I'm not physically there. Also, I always enjoy my interactions with Kevin, who is the custodian there, he does a great job taking care of everything and everyone. We always have great laughs and great conversation during my visits. I truly enjoy my customer experience here, and the building/parking area remains very clean, AC controlled, and secure! :-D

Hands-down the best storage and moving supplies business in Arlington. For my last 2 moves, 2018 and now 2021, I've used Self Storage Plus for short-term storage and to purchase boxes, etc, and could not be happier. The staff is efficient, professional, and also will go out of their way to help, including advice to save money by only getting the supplies/storage you need. Plus, their facility is super clean and secure. I could not recommend Self Storage Plus more highly!
