The guy at the counter was great! I walked in, gave him my name and he found my reservation right away. He asked if I was familiar with storage places. I told him I had used one years before, but not in a while. I told him I needed to see how big of a 5 x 5 location was to determine if that would be big enough. No one else was there, so he locked the front door and immediately took me upstairs to the location that I would have. We went back downstairs, signed paperwork, and everything is set. The whole process took less than half an hour. It was quick, efficient, and addressed every question and issue I had. I highly recommend this place! 6/17 – Just a small update. I went back on Saturday and put my lock on the unit. Again, it was quick, efficient and painless. Also, Carlos was the guy I have dealt with both times. He is a great guy.

Ive rented here long term.. This storage in Cockysville, MD is the best storage place I’ve ever used. I’ve rented storage in many places in my many moves, this place is clean, good rolling carts and bathrooms for this 65yr guy and my wife. The place is dry, cool in the summer. The front office is always there and ready to help. As in any business you can’t please all people, 10 stars in my opinion.

Well, the light inside of my storage unit doesn’t work, which makes moving things in storage very frustrating. We were told we’d get a new light or a consession, but no one has contacted me. Also, you cant use the bathrooms after like 5pm and that’s truly awful because I have health issues and need to go to yhe restroom often. I found myself not using the storage facility due to that alone.

We have been steady customers for over 6 years and have seen management turnover and poor customer service with erratic and unethical billing practices. Once you are a storage customer, your rates continue to rise. We auto-pay from our bank account. Two months ago Storage Plus said they did not receive our pmt (our bank confirmed sending). SP promptly slapped a $25 late fee. And our rate went up. Then they added another fine because they needed new home owners verification. Our next month’s auto pay went out and this time SP did not cash the check. Resulting in numerous/ harassing calls from the manager (Carlos). Now there was a new fee $115 blocking our storage access until pmt was received. We went into the office to speak with the manager, he was off. We requested to speak with the district manager Danielle, that request was declined. Bottom line, we had to pay the unwarranted fees to access our belongings. Follow up: I wrote to the email address provided 3 days ago, but have not received a response yet.
